Experience
Currently I am working toward my degree in Math from the University of Kansas. While at school for the past three years, I have been working formally as a tutor. I am comfortable working as a tutor for any level of Math from the very basics up through Calculus. My main strategy as a tutor is to relate the material at hand to the real world so that students can understand how it applies to their lives. I have been passionate about Math since a young age and very much enjoy trying to pass that feeling on to the students I work with. Many students struggle with Math initially and see it as a daunting subject, but I try to help them see ways in which it can be fun and engaging. In addition to my skills all across the standard spectrum of Math, I also have experience assisting student as they prepare for the AP exam. When I am not in the classroom or working as a tutor, I like to spend my time playing dance video games and collecting puzzles such as Rubik's Cubes.

Hobbies
In my spare time, I enjoy playing rhythm and dance music games, such as Dance Dance Revolution, and I am also an avid collector of Rubik's Cubes and other "twisty" puzzles.
